Department : Safety and Security Department
Basic Salary : 428.8 JD+ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
An allowance of 1000 NIS payable in JD at UNRWA rate.
Qualifications:
-Successful completion of full secondary education.
-At least two years of experience in a similar field of work.
-Working knowledge of spoken English and written Arabic.
-Basic knowledge of written English.
Competencies
-Ability to supervise others.
-Good communications skills, including ability to draft shift reports.
-Demonstrated ability to solve operational issues/problems.
-Professional and courteous attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a stressful environment.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity including gender balance.
-Working knowledge of computer hardware and software programmes.
-Maintains a high sense of confidentiality.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
-Previous guard and supervisory experience, preferably in UNRWA.
-Qualification/ certificate in fire prevention/fighting and first aid.
-Qualification/ certificates in security matters, preferably in UNRWA, or UNDSS.
